is a multi-talented artist, songwriter, producer, and engineer hailing from Los Angeles and originally from Schenectady, NY. With a strong musical background, Dane was a founding member of the alt-RnB group Sonnymoon, where he honed his skills and gained invaluable studio experience by observing the creative process during studio sessions for Kendrick Lamar's first two records.

Dane's passion for music led him to pursue formal education at Berklee College of Music, where he focused on saxophone, jazz composition, and electronic production and design. Notably, Dane participated in the first-ever J Dilla ensemble at Berklee, showcasing his deep appreciation for hip-hop and his ability to merge different musical genres. Recently, he was also featured in the New York Times bestseller 'Dilla Time,' highlighting his connection to the lineage between J Dilla and Kendrick.

Armed with his diverse skill set, Dane has embarked on a new venture of building and selling virtual instruments, including the renowned Felt Piano & Drumkit. This unique instrument has garnered significant recognition and has been featured in various projects, including the Internet Money single 'I Remember,' featuring Roddy Ricch and Kodak Black. Additionally, Dane has released an album comprised entirely of original compositions and covers, showcasing the versatility and creativity of the Felt Piano instrument.

Beyond his work with virtual instruments, Dane is extensively involved in the music production and engineering realm. His production and mixing credits boast an impressive list of artists, including Russ, Jay Electronica, Harry Fraud & Curren$y, French Montana, 03 Greedo, A$AP Twelvyy, Rob $tone, Lindsay Lucas, Quelle Chris, Nappy Nina, Jean Grae, Anna Wise, and more.
